How it all started
1993
He started working in the field of endoscopic surgery. He has performed more than 4,000 minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries, more than 1,000 choledoscopic, and more than 2,000 endoscopic gallbladder surgeries.
2006
He was the first to carry out minimally invasive operations of a new type to remove gallstones from the gallbladder under the guidance of Professor Zhang Baoshan. He created a team of specialists in the field of gallbladder research and achieved great technological progress in this area.
2008
He created his own brand of endoscopes and received state patents for the production of medical equipment.
He created and headed the Institute of Gallbladder Diseases of the Research Center for Hepatobiliary and Intestinal Surgery of the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China. This institute is the only institution in the country for the study of gallbladder diseases.
2009
He was awarded the highest award - "For outstanding achievements in the field of state endoscopy" at the 19th National Chinese Medical Conference in Hong Kong.
To date, Professor Chao Te has already received more than 900 state patents.
Achievements in work
- He was the first in the country to use a solid choledoscope for operations to remove gallstones and polyps.

- He created his own brand of endoscopic equipment for the removal of gallstones and polyps of the gallbladder.
- He has developed a unique technology for restoring the functions and patency of the bile ducts using a solid endoscope through moderate negative pressure.
- He invented the technology of ultrasound endoscopy and the diagnosis of stones in the walls of the gallbladder using micro-ultrasonic waves, which allows you to accurately identify the structure of the walls of the gallbladder, as well as diagnose pathological changes and neoplasms in the initial stages.
